ENRICHED AIR NITROX

This course teaches the use of air with higher than normal oxygen levels, with approximately 32% oxygen and 68% nitrogen.
This results in reducing the amount of nitrogen in a diver's body, allowing more bottom time to explore the underwater world.

Benefits of using Nitrox :
1. Increases No Decompression Limit (NDL) time, allowing longer stays at depth.
2. Reduces the risk of Decompression Sickness (DCS).
3. Reduces nitrogen accumulation in the body during dives.
4. Decreases surface intervals.

. .
This course aims to explain why using Nitrox is beneficial, as well as the precautions to take, calculating maximum depth/percentage of Nitrox, and setting up Dive Computers for Nitrox mode.
