Koh Haa Yai

Koh Haa is under the supervision of Mu Ko Lanta National Park, Krabi. Koh Haa is a limestone island that outcrops from the sea and contains five islands. So people call it “Koh haa”. Koh means island, and “haa” means five in Thai. Koh Haa Yai is one of the most amazing dive sites in Thailand.”Koh haa yai” is located in the southern part of the 5th island, which is the biggest island of all. The most famous point in this dive site is the Cathedral, series of three caverns, 2 of them are connected which give a fantastic experiences to all divers by swim thru the channel without any technical dive certification needed. These caverns begin at 12-14 meters depth and raise up to the surface.Additionally, when looking out at the front of the cave, you will see the sunlight shining down in a beautiful beam. This is a popular photo spot for underwater photographers. Moreover, this dive site mostly has a clear water with a small walls and sloping reefs down to approximately 25 meters. In addition, both the left and right sides of the cave are filled with colourful soft corals, many sea fans, large and small animals such as turtles, stingrays, blacktip sharks,ghost pipefish, pipefish, scorpion fish, lion fish, cuttle fish, sea horses, lots of nudi branch or even the big brother like whale sharks can be found here.
